GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met here Monday with Gilles de Kerchove European Union counter-terrorism coordinator accompanied by Pedro Serrano Deputy Secretary General External Action and Security Affairs of the European Union (EEAS). 
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts of the GCC-EU joint cooperation to combat international terrorism and strengthen the regional and international means in developing regional security and fighting terrorism. 
Al Zayani said that the GCC are determined to continue its efforts with the international community to fight terror and eliminate extremist organizations, stressing the importance to cooperate against the regional and international terrorism that affects peace and security. 
Al Zayani also met here Monday with Dr. Christophe Bernasconi Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). During the meeting they discussed joint cooperation and coordination between the GCC and HCCH in the fields of international law, in addition to topics concerning the upcoming Hague Conference.
