Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby met on Wednesday with Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty at the AL headquarters.

The meeting took up consultations pertaining to holding an Arab conference on protecting and retrieving cultural and historical property of the Arab world and banning trafficking, according to an official source in the AL.

The conference will be sponsored by the AL.
