Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Nabil el Araby on Tuesday received EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Fernando Gentilini.

An AL statement said that the meeting dealt with recent regional developments, especially the Palestinian issue.

The two sides also discussed developments in Syria, Yemen and Libya, the statement added.
