The Arab League called for rallying Arab media efforts and entrenching a balanced Arab media speech which enable the regional countries to confront terrorism and schemes to spread division and sectarianism.
It is important to have regulations to stop the channels offending member states of the Arab League.
The remarks were made by Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Department of Media and Communication at the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh during the meeting of a working group specialized in drawing up the necessary steps from the technical and legislative aspects to suspend the satellite channels which offend any member states of the Arab League.
Abu Ghazaleh, meanwhile, warned of the danger repercussions of the satellite channels which distort the image of Arabs and Muslims and accuse them of committing terrorist acts.
