Ambassador Mohamed Idris Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs met on Saturday with all of the accredited African Ambassadors in Cairo.
In a press release, the Foreign Ministry said Idris deputies for African affairs, United Nations affairs, members of protocol department and Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development also attended the meeting.
Idris reviewed Egypt's vision that aims to boost relations with African countries and its role after winning the non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for two years.
The meeting also discussed preparations for holding investment and trade in Africa conference slated for February in Sharm el Sheikh.
