Sudanese President Omar al Bashir met his South Sudanese counterpart Salva Kiir Mayardit

Sudanese President Omar al Bashir met his South Sudanese counterpart Salva Kiir Mayardit on the sidelines of the Arab-African Summit in Equatorial Guinea.

Speaking to the Sudanese Akhbar al Youm newspaper out Thursday, Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour said the two leaders discussed relations between the two countries during the meeting.

They also probed means of implementing previously agreed-upon decisions between the two countries, Ghandour added. 

The fourth Arab-African Summit that was held under the theme of ''Together for Sustainable Development and Economic Cooperation'' concluded its activities Wednesday in Malabo.
