Bosnian Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak received on Saturday Egypt's Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Yasser el Attawi.
The meeting took up means of boosting Egyptian-Bosnian bilateral ties and cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, trade and tourism, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Saturday.
The Bosnian top diplomat highlighted the deeply-rooted bilateral ties between Cairo and Sarajevo and voiced keenness on promoting cooperation with Egypt in various domains.
Meanwhile, he congratulated Egypt on winning a seat on the UN Human Rights Council for 2017-2020.
In this regard, Crnadak underscored the balanced role played by Egypt in the regional and international spheres.
The Egyptian ambassador, for his part, asserted Cairo's great interest in fostering bilateral ties with Sarajevo and stated that Egypt fully supported unity and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Attawi also invited Bosnian tourists to visit Egypt and enjoy their vacations in the country's various tourist destinations, showing in this respect the efforts exerted by Cairo to increase the number of Bosnian tourists vacationing in Egypt.
