Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy received on Tuesday the Chief of Joint Staff of the armed forces, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Egypt.
They discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and military cooperation between the two countries especially in the fields of training, expertise transfer and support for the combat and technical potentials of the armed forces in the two countries.
Hegazy praised the depth of Greek-Egyptian relations, saying joint cooperation would achieve security, peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Greek Ambassador in Cairo Christodoulos Lazaris and Egyptian armed forces senior commanders.
