Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazi had a meeting on Monday with visiting head of the Kuwaiti Military Inspection Major General Mohammad Ahmed al Khader and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting took up military cooperation between the two countries' armed forces and efforts exerted to eradicate terrorism and achieve peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, Hegazi underlined the depth of strategic ties between Egypt and other countries and its continued coordination and consultation to face common challenges, boost military cooperation and exchange expertise.
For his part, Khader lauded time-honored ties between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples, stressing the importance of bilateral cooperation in war on terrorism.
Several military top brass attended the meeting.
