China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing, Tuesday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security.
According to a tweet of Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Chinese ambassador
appreciated conduct of the successful visit of Chinese foreign minister and support for the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Pakistan.
The COAS reiterated that CPEC was economic future of Pakistan and its security would never be compromised.
