Saudi Foreign Minister Adel el Jubair met on Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the fifth summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) here.
Talks tackled boosting cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and issues tabled on the agenda of the Islamic summit.
Jubair, who is chairing the Saudi delegation to the ministerial preparatory meeting for the summit, also met with the foreign ministers of Palestine, Bangladesh, Yemen and the UAE minister of state.
The summit will tackle the situation in Al Quds in light of continued Israeli attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque and steps to be taken by the OIC to help the Palestinians and address deteriorating economic conditions there.
