Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday met with János Latorcai, the deputy speaker of the Hungarian parliament, at the end of his visit to Hungary.

They discussed ways to boost bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

Latorcai hailed deeply-rooted ties binding his country and Egypt.

He said his country is keen on enhancing cooperation with Egypt.
