Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry returned on Thursday from Juba where he took part in celebrations of the fourth anniversary of South Sudan Independence.
Shoukry held a number of meetings with senior Sudanese officials, including President Salva Kiir and his Sudanese counterpart.
Shoukry praised friendly ties between Egyptian and South Sudanese leaders as he made clear that they met four times in one year to boost bilateral relations.
He also referred to Sisi’s orders to the Egyptian government and ministers to support development in South Sudan.
He further stressed coordination between the two countries regarding a number of regional and international issues, as well as cooperation in the health and educational fields.
