Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met on Friday with German Ambassador to Egypt Julius Georg Luy.

They discussed preparations for a meeting of the joint ministerial panel that will be held in Berlin in June.

The meeting tackled projects currently established by Germany in Egypt and prospects of joint cooperation. 

Nasr said Germany plays an effective role as a main strategic partner at all political, economic and cultural levels.

Germany has contributed to funding various projects in Egypt in the fields of energy, irrigation and sanitation, she said.
