Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Chairman Abdel Aziz Seif received visiting Ugandan Energy Minister Irene Muloni Monday.

The meeting took up a number of files of mutual interest, especially renewable solar and wind energies.

Seif stressed the importance of cooperation with Uganda as a pivotal country of the Nile basin under the current challenges facing the continent in general and Nile basin countries in particular.

Uganda is rich with natural sources of renewable energy such as the sun, wind and water, while Egypt has creative minds, the AOI chief, saying the advantages of both countries have to be invested.
