Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Tareq Adel received on Monday European Union envoy to Yemen Bettina Muscheidt.

A press release issued by the Foreign Ministry said the meeting focused on the latest developments in Yemen and the Egyptian support for the legitimate Yemeni government under President Mansour Hadi.

The statement stressed the importance of respecting all agreements regarding Yemen, as well as the initiative of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the implementation of the Security Council resolutions on Yemen.
