Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar held on Tuesday two separate meetings with Canadian and Italian ambassadors in Cairo Troy Lulashnyk and Maurizio Massari respectively.
The meetings touched on the domestic and regional security situation and ways of boosting cooperation.
The two diplomats hailed the relations with Egypt and voiced their support for its fight against terror groups.
The minister welcomed bolstering cooperation with the two states, calling for more collective efforts to uproot terrorism.
