Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed with Ambassador Patrick Simonnet, Head of Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Iraq the economic and security situations as well as the economic challenges. 
Simonnet stressed the European Union's support to Iraq in its fight against terrorism, referring to the assistance provided by the EU in support of displaced people and restoring stability to the liberated areas.
