H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, said culture is the finest art that brings nations of the world under its umbrella.
''Culture is the main source of civilisation, albeit the fact that there is diversity among people across the globe, and the gathering in New Delhi is a proof of that,'' Sheikh Mohammed said in an address he made last night at the World Culture Festival 2016, being hosted by New Delhi from 11th to 13th March to bring world leaders and people together as one world family and celebrate peace.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah was invited to the Festival by the Government of India.
The Indian Prime Minister, a group of heads of state, official delegates, political leaders, spiritual leaders and artists from more than 150 countries are attending the event.
The World is One Family, and that is the theme for the three-day "World Culture Festival" which is a celebration of the Art Of Living’s 35 years of service to humanity globally. The World Culture Festival is one of the first such festivals which political leaders, spiritual leaders and artists from Sri Lanka, Nepal, South America, Mongolia, Russia, US, Europe, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, amongst many others, will be attending.
Breaking the cultural boundaries and uniting the world as one community is the objective of the festival.
Organisers say the World Culture Festival celebrations will demonstrate the power of peace by bringing 3.5 million people from around the world together.
Celebrating diversity helps to appreciate uniqueness and common values, binding all human beings.
The World Culture Festival gives global cultures, music and the arts a platform to come together and celebrate their diversity as well as their uniqueness.
