GCC Education Ministers to Meet in Riyadh

GCC Ministers of Education will hold a meeting Thursday in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they will discuss a set of issues including the GCC Supreme Council's decision to endorse the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on enhancing the joint GCC action march, promoting the values of GCC citizenship and means of enhancing the role of educational institutions in developing the culture of voluntary work.

The meeting will also discuss the recommendation of undersecretaries of antiquities on teaching archeology in educational curriculum as well as the general secretariat's recommendation to put a working strategy for the ministerial committee.

A preparatory meeting on Wednesday for education undersecretaries will precede the ministerial meeting.
