Their Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault at the UN headquarters in New York.
The meeting was chaired by Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, in the presence of GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the strategic partnership between the GCC countries and France, established during the GCC-French summit in Riyadh in May 2015, and ways of further promoting relations in all areas.
Talks during the meeting also covered regional and international issues of mutual concern.
