Head of Egypt's National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek received on Thursday EU Special Representative for Human Rights Stavros Lambrinidis.

Fayek talked at the meeting about the council's activities in promoting the human rights culture, as well as challenges facing human rights in Egypt.

They also tackled cooperation with the EU in developing medical care and education in Egypt as considered two basic rights of human beings.
