Head of Parliament's economic committee probes joint cooperation with US economic minister plenipotentiary

The Head of the Parliament's Economic Committee Ali Moselhi met with the minister plenipotentiary for economic affairs at the US Embassy in Cairo.

The meeting took up the activities of the committee and its relation with the ministries concerned with the economic field as well as the draft laws expected to be presented to the committee, according to a statement issued by the committee.

The minister plenipotentiary discussed the possibility of promoting cooperation with the economic committee and the developmental programs with the World Bank (WB) or the financial institutions.

The get-together reflected the profound economic ties between Egypt and the US and the importance of Egypt in supporting stability in the region, the statement added.
