Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ashraf el Shihy stressed the depth of relations between Egypt and Japan in all fields especially the educational and cultural ones.

He further underlined the importance of promoting the scientific and technological cooperation as well as exchanging expertise and scientists between the two countries.

These remarks came during the meeting held between the minister with the executive committee of the Japanese scholars program as part of the partnership agreed about between both countries during the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Japan recently.

The get-together took up the plan of the program during the coming five years.
