French President Francois Hollande received on Friday his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas to discuss a French initiative to hold an international conference for peace.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in PalHollande meets Abbasestine and issues of mutual concern.

Abbas is on a three-day visit to Paris in which he is accompanied with a number of senior officials.

Earlier, French Foreign Ministry urged Israeli authorities to support the two-state solution via actions not only by words.
