Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa and his Philippine counterpart Albert F. del Rosario will meet on Monday afternoon for the sixth Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC), according official.
"The meeting of both the countries foreign affairs minister this afternoon aims to advance common efforts through a review of various progresses that have been achieved after the fifth JCBC in Manila in 2011," the Foreign Affairs Ministrys Director for East Asia and the Pacific, Dewi Savitri Wahab, noted in a press statement.
She added that the two ministers, during the meeting, will explore new cooperation opportunities to improve the already good and strong bilateral relations.
"Constructive relations between the two neighbor countries have provided positive contribution to stability, peace, and welfare for both the countries and ASEAN region," Dewi pointed out.
Further, she added that the two ministers will also discuss cooperation in trade and investment, and tourism.
She pointed out that the trade value during January-November 2013 between both the countries was US$4.5 billion.
