International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr held several meetings on the sidelines of the 41st annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), which is being held in Indonesia.
Nasr met with CEO of the International Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) Hani Sonbul, during which they discussed the important role played by the ITFC in promoting trade cooperation among member states in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, according to a statement issued by the International Cooperation Ministry.
The minister also hailed the ITFC's role in supporting Egypt's needs of petroleum derivatives, added the statement.
The minister also met with CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) Khaled el Aboudi.
The meeting took up the possibility of cooperating in the 1.5-million-feddan project in Egypt along with several small and medium-seized projects.
Nasr, meanwhile, urged the corporation to develop shanty areas in Egypt.
