President of Iran Hassan Rouhani met Tuesday with Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, currently visiting Tehran.

Talks during the meeting covered bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.

 The Italian premier is scheduled to meet a number of senior Iranian officials to discuss means of promoting economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
