Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and his Senegalese counterpart Mankeur Ndiaye on Friday discussed means of cooperation regarding the upcoming conference on development in Africa.
"The two countries are important partners that share many values," Kishida said in statements to Kyodo news agency.
For his part, Ndiaye said he hopes to deepen ties with Japan through the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, scheduled for Aug. 27 and 28 in Kenya.
