Dr. Omar Al Razzaz, Jordan's Minister of Education, has received Mattar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador in Amman, to discuss cooperation and coordination in all areas of education and the exchange of knowledge and official visits.
They also discussed the drafting of a plan to exchange student delegations and how to benefit from their experiences in educational training and curricula development.
Dr. Al Razzaz detailed the current state of education in Jordan, its plans and programmes, and the ministry's future aspirations, which focus on raising learning capacities and introducing advanced technologies in education.
Al Shamsi praised the strong and historic ties between the two countries, and the good reputation of Jordan’s education system at Arab, regional and international levels.
He also expressed the UAE's keenness to attract qualified Jordanian education professionals, saying that they are welcome in the country.
