President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from President Assoumani Azali of the Comoros on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all fields.

The letter was delivered to H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, when he received Mohamed El-Amine Souef, Comorian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the Comorian minister and praised the progressive ties between the two countries in various domains. He and Souef discussed means to enhance co-operation between the two countries, as well as current regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Comorian minister said his country was keen on strengthening co-operation with the UAE in all fields. He further praised the progress achieved by the UAE and the status the country has gained both regionally and internationally.
