King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain met here Saturday with former British Premier Tony Blair, who is the current Envoy of the Quartet on the Middle East.

Bahraini news agency BNA reported today that Blair briefed the King of Bahrain on the developments of the Quartet on the Middle East to reinitiate the peace process.

The King of Bahrain expressed his hopes that the efforts of Blair will help establish fair and comprehensive peace to the region.
