King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud on Sunday received the president of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, in his office at Al-Yamamah palace, SPA reported.

During the reception, King Salman and the FIFA president went over the most important programs for improving football, and discussed areas of cooperation between FIFA and the General Sport Authority (GSA) in Saudi Arabia.

The reception was attended by the Minister of State, Cabinet member, and Chief of the Royal Court Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Issa; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir; and the chairman of the GSA and Royal Court adviser, Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh.
