Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received at his residence in the city of Tangier the Sudan’s President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The king is currently in Morocco on a private visit.
“The two leaders reviewed the fraternal relations between the the two brotherly countries and a number of issues of mutual interest,” the SPA said.
The Sudanese leader was also treated to a luncheon attended by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy prime minister and minister of defense; Prince Turki bin Salman; Prince Rakan bin Salman; Finance Minister Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al- Assaf; Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Abdulaziz bin Mohi Khoja; and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, who is also the kingdom’s permanent representative to the Arab League.
With President Bashit were Minister of the Presidency Fazul Abdullah Fadel, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Ahmed Ghandour, Minister of State Director of the Office of the President Osman Taha Hussein, and a several other officials.
