Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan chaired the first meeting of the honouring committee of diligent and outstanding workers as well as distinguished institutions in the private sector. He hailed the unlimited royal support to the workforce in Bahrain as well as the care and follow-up of HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince to maximise labour gains and provide a favourable work climate.
Discussions focused on the organisational procedures to finalise all arrangements for the national event which is organised annually in December in conjunction with the kingdom’s celebrations of the National and Accession Days.
The Labour and Social Development Minister stressed the importance of the honouring ceremony in motivating the workers and encouraging them to compete and stand out, pointing out the growing competition between the nominees which reflects the importance of the event in boosting the work environment, motivating the labour force and encouraging commitment to the Bahrainisation system
