Raimonds Vejonis, President of the Republic of Latvia, has received the credentials of Hanan Khalfan Al Alili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Latvia.

The Latvian President welcomed the appointment of Al Alili as the first Ambassador of the UAE to Latvia, expressing satisfaction with the diplomatic exchange that highlights the wise vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. President Vejonis also wished the UAE Ambassador success in strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship between the two parties.

Ambassador Al Alili conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the President of Latvia.

She stressed the UAE's keenness to strengthen the bonds of friendship and strengthen bilateral relations between the UAE and Latvia, expressing her commitment to work on the development of relations between the two countries in various fields.
