Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam on Thursday held talks with Jordanian Minister of Agriculture Rida Al Khawaldeh that touched on ways of enhancing agricultural exchange between the two countries, Jordanian official news agency Petra reported.
Al Khawaldeh also met his Lebanese counterpart Akram Chehayeb, with the two ministers discussing ways of boosting agricultural cooperation. Talks touched on the difficulties facing Jordanian and Lebanese farmers as a result of the regional turmoil, mainly in Syria, and the disruptions in the transportation of agricultural products.
