Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab received on Wednesday Afghanistan's President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani who is currently visiting Egypt to participate in the New Suez Canal inauguration ceremony.

The two sides discussed means of promoting bilateral ties.
