Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz received an invitation from Chancellor Angela Merkel to visit Germany, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

German Ambassador in Riyadh Boris Ruge handed the invitation during a meeting with Crown Prince Nayef, who is also the deputy prime minister and interior minister.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern.
