Mohammed bin Rashid receives Albanian Prime Minister

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, today received Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed discussed with the Prime Minister bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in light of the opportunities available to both sides, especially in the tourism, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. The Vice President emphasised the UAE's keenness on welcoming friendly countries that want to build partnerships between them.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE is a country that promotes the noble values of tolerance, love and peaceful coexistence, and which enshrines justice and equality between all races and religions, adding that the UAE is always generous in helping other nations and peoples.

The Albanian Prime Minister expressed his government's desire to extend new cooperation between the two countries and seize opportunities available to develop and enhance mutual cooperation for the benefit of the two parties, stressing the possibility of his country's use of UAE expertise, especially in the field of infrastructure, aviation and ports.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, H.H. Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai's Court, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, and a number of officials, dignitaries, and the Albanian delegation accompanying Mr. Rama.
