Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Salim al Jabouri and US ambassador to Iraq Douglas Seelman discussed on Saturday reinforcing bilateral relations.
They also tackled coordination in combating terrorism and the war against Daesh.
Jabouri said that Mosul liberation was important step to restore the last Iraqi areas in Daesh's grip, noting that the next stage will require unification of regional and international efforts to combat terrorist groups.
He also asserted the importance of returning all the displaced back to their liberated cities which will need great international effort to rebuild the destroyed areas.
Meantime, the US Ambassador renewed his country's commitment to support Iraq in its war against terrorism.
