Nepal's Prime Minister, Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, has received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli discussed cooperation and friendship relations between the UAE and Nepal and ways to strengthen their efforts in developing relationships.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah said that it is important to exchange such visits between officials of the two countries within the framework of boosting bilateral cooperation and access to development programmes and levels of progress and development in the two countries. He expressed the UAE's keenness to extend bridges of cooperation and strengthen aspects of rapprochement with Nepal and support everything that would encourage investment and diversify areas of cooperation to serve the common interest of both sides.
Nepal's Prime Minister welcomed H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation, saying that H.H.'s visit comes in the framework of strengthening cooperation and friendship between the two countries and enhancing cooperation between the two sides, saying that the UAE has a good reputation and carries high prestige at a global level.
K.P. Oli hailed the UAE's investment environment, which has contributed to attract global business and investment projects, made it a commercial and financial centre prestigious, interface for global companies to jump-start its operations from the UAE to the states of the region and wishing the country to achieve more successes in various fields.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the existing cooperation and friendship between the UAE and Nepal and ways to strengthen their efforts in the development of economic and trade relations and to encourage joint investments and advanced industrial projects and energy areas of interest to the two countries.
