A meeting was held on Tuesday between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Spokesman for the US Department of State John Kirby said the two sides discussed the latest developments in terror-hit Syria and the situation in the Palestinian territories.

Kirby said the meeting probed also issues of mutual concern and ways of boosting relations between the two countries.
