Omani Minister of Awqaf Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed al Salmi met Wednesday with Secretary of Al Azhar Dr Abass Shuman and Secretary General of the Islamic Research Academy Dr Mohieldin Afifi.

The talks took up means of boosting bilateral cooperation between the Awqaf Ministry in Oman and Egypt's Al Azhar, the Omani news agency said.
