Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Ma'awda received in his office today Egyptian Attorney General Chancellor Nabil Sadaq, in the presence of Public Prosecutor Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainin. He briefed him about the Ombudsman Office and its specialties as well as main data and statistics announced in its annual reports and its role in boosting respect of human rights.

Both sides also discussed the role of the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission (PDRC) and its inspection visits to the reform and rehabilitation centres and other places which fall within its legal jurisdictions.

The meeting was attended Deputy Ombudsman Osama Ahmed Al Asfoor and Complaints Affairs Director Abdulrahman Ali Faris.
