Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain met on Thursday with Italian Chief of Army Staff General Danilo Errico, who is on a visit to Pakistan.
They reviewed means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in different fields, especially in defense field and in the fight against terrorism.
The Pakistani President said his country was committed to eradicate extremism and terrorism, adding all countries in the world should join hands to combat terrorism as this menace had grown into a global problem.
