Palestine's Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr on Thursday met with a delegation led by former U.S. president Jimmy Carter.

In the meeting that was held in Ramallah, Abu Amr briefed the delegation on the latest developments in Palestine.

The meeting tackled the efforts exerted to conclude an inter-Palestinian reconciliation, allowing the national government to perform its duties.

The delegation has called off a planned visit to the Gaza Strip.
