Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla on Friday met with his Bahraini counterpart Abdul Hussain Mirza.
Mirza is currently visiting Egypt to take part in the 95th meeting of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), to kick off in Cairo on Sunday.
The Bahraini official praised the warm reception by Egypt, stressing the importance of such Arab get-together to support joint cooperation in the fields of oil, gas and petrochemicals.
