Secretary General of PLO Executive Committee Dr. Saeb Erekat met here Monday with the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov. 
During the meeting, Erekat asked the United Nations to initiate a formal investigation into the extrajudicial killings perpetrated by the Israeli occupying forces against the Palestinian people. 
   He informed the UN official on the cases of the field executions committed by the Israeli occupation forces, saying since last September and even today the Israeli forces had carried out 207 cases of extrajudicial executions against the Palestinian people, which require an urgent international investigation.
