Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received Thursday Foreign Ministry spokesman and the new Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdel Atti.

During the meeting, Pope Tawadros congratulated Abdel Atti over his new post as Egypt's ambassador to Germany, according to the churches' spokesman Bishop Bolis Halim.

They was agreed on the importance of the pope's visit to Germany in December 2013.
